The Mental Health Commission of Canada along with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) will officially be launching the results of a research project on the “Aspiring Workforce”.  The term describes those people who, due to mental illness have been unable to enter the workforce, or who are in and out of the workforce due to episodic illness, or who wish to return to work after a lengthy period of illness. That evening the Commission and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) will host a reception to further recognize the important issues that are raised in the report.  This event will also serve as a kick-off for a two day conference being hosted by the CMHA on addressing the social determinants of mental health and addictions.
