Here is The Lobby Monitor's weekly roundup of stories.
This week, The Lobby Monitor published a story about a new watchdog group, called Canadians for Responsible Advocacy, that will be offering a certification program for acountable and transparent advocacy. We also reported on new registrations in energy and new communications reports for the railways and the insurance companies. In our On Queen Street feature, there's a big addition coming to Summa Strategies, which picked up Justin Trudeau's executive assistant and campaign manager. We reported on Lobbying Commissioner Karen Shepherd's comments at an industry event this week: There may be another consultation on the Code of Conduct. Also, have a look at our weekly lists, published every Friday, showing new registrations and communications reports.
