Von Finckenstein’s message to MPs: ‘Understand,’ ‘absorb,’ and ‘apply’ conflict of interest rules

Interim Ethics Commissioner Konrad von Finckenstein told The Lobby Monitor that the commissioner should not be the one "who decides the appropriateness of the penalty and whether to impose it or not," as he believe “the political process decides what are the consequences.”
