“Supporting Canadian families” is the focus of the federation’s “Hill Day” in which members of the CTF Board of Directors meet with MPs, senators and senior government officials to discuss issues affecting children, youth and education.
The CTF has a long-standing interest in supporting Canadian families and has prepared a comprehensive list of recommendations aimed at supporting low-income families, immigrant families, Aboriginal families, Francophone families in minority settings and beyond our borders, families in developing countries.

The Canadian Teachers’ Federation (CTF) will hold a news conference next week to outline its recommendations aimed at supporting the growing number of students who are falling through the cracks because of societal barriers that impede their success at school.
