The Conference of Defence Associations (CDA), which describes itself as the oldest and most influential advocacy group in Canada’s defence community, is holding its annual general meeting and a conference on the theme of "Canada and the World" (Feb. 23) and "The Canadian Forces - Capabilities Required for Home and Away Missions" (Feb. 24). Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, academics, foreign dignitaries, military officials, defence industry representatives, and Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers President David Collyer will attend.
