The Canadian Library Association (CLA) is holding its 67th annual National Conference and Trade Show from May 30 to June 2 at the Ottawa Convention Centre in Ottawa. The CLA will also hold its first lobby day on Parliament Hill May 30.

One of CLA’s key roles is as an advocate for libraries and library issues with the federal government. The CLA on the Hill advocacy afternoon is an opportunity for CLA members to meet with MPs and senators to discuss issues such as copyright, preferred book rates and the elimination of the Community Access Program.

More information is available on the association's website.
