The Assembly of First Nations holds its 33rd General Assembly and Election for Office of the National Chief.
Aga Khan Foundation Canada is hosting a public presentation by Dr. Fawad Akbari, public specialist with Aga Khan Foundation Afghanistan and Dr. Geoffrey Hodgetts of Queen’s University. The speakers will discuss the health situation in Northern Afghanistan, and highlight some of the initiatives being undertaken to create a brighter future for women and children. Seating is limited.
