For the past 11 years, Parliament Hill has played host to the All-Party Party. This is a non-partisan, not-for-profit celebration held in recognition of the work of all employees on the Hill: security staff, support staff, political staff. These employees are an integral part of the daily operation of Parliament and this event, which attracts approximately 2,000 guests each year, allows the opportunity to thank them.

The Canadian Co-operative Association and the Conseil canadien de la coopération et de la mutualité will host a joint parliamentary reception. The reception is a prelude to the UN 2012 International Year of Co-operatives which will be launched across Canada on Jan. 12, 2012 with the theme: Co-operative Enterprises Build a Better World. Co-operative and credit union leaders and staff will be on hand to discuss the important contribution co-operatives bring to Canada’s economy.
