High-speed rail players waiting for clear signals before accelerating Canadian lobby efforts, advocate says

Railway Association of Canada president Michael Bourque declined to comment on the Ontario provincial government's proposal for a new high-speed rail link, but offered praise for the Greater Toronto Area's "excellent commuter rail service in GO Transit." Although lobbying on high-speed rail in the U.S. has picked up speed, activity in Canada hasn't followed suit.
