Proposed changes to political financing would cost $45 million, PBO estimates

Parliamentary Budget Officer Jean-Denis Fréchette’s analysis of Bill C-364 finds the federal government would see higher expenses to cover per-vote subsidies and that political parties would not see a dramatic decrease in funds from reductions to individual contribution limits.
