B.C. ironworkers lobbying feds as end to tariff exemptions looms

U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross used Campbell's Soup as a prop in defending Washington's plans to impose steel and aluminum tariffs, saying they would have a minimal impact on consumers. 'In a can of Campbell's Soup, there are about 2.6 pennies worth of steel. So if that goes up by 25 percent, that's about six-tenths of one cent on the price on a can of Campbell's soup,' Ross said.
