Eric Baptiste is the CEO of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN). The House heritage committee released a report this month with recommendations for changes to the Copyright Act. Baptiste is largely supportive of the recommendations, but dislikes that there is no recommendation related to a technologically neutral private copying regime.
