ISSUE 2014-10-10

Issue Date:
Fri, 2014-10-10 (All day)
Issue Email Content:

Here is The Lobby Monitor's weekly roundup of stories.

It was a big week for newspapers as Postmedia, and now the Thomsons, have registered on the issue of foreign ownership in newspapers in Canada. We covered that and several other new registrations and activity in the registry. We also ran a story about the new head of CADSI and other changes on Queen Street. Our coverage this week included the charges against Jamie Carroll, who says he never lobbied for the client in question.

Readers please note: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, our office will be closed Monday and there will be no Morning Brief. Publishing will resume Tuesday.

As usual, have a look at out our online, sortable lists of new registrations and communications reports, published end-of-day every Friday.

Send news tips or information about upcoming lobby days and industry events to news@lobbymonitor.ca.
