Here is The Lobby Monitor's weekly roundup of stories.

This week, we ran a story about how the lobbying of cabinet ministers has declined over the last five years. We also followed the career moves of Robin Speer, who has landed a government relations job at the University of Calgary after leaving New West Public Affairs, and Barbara Wright, former manager of government relations at the Canadian Nurses Association, who was hired as a senior consultant at Environics Communications in July. We also reported on new registrations and wrote about the Christian group World Renew, which communicated with Prime Minister Stephen Harper in July on climate issues.

As usual, check out our online, sortable lists of new registrations and communications reports, published end-of-day every Friday.
