The chief economist at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Joseph Glauber, will speak about internatiopnal agri-food trade and the World Trade Organization at a University of Guelph conference on in Ottawa on agri-trade and food strategy. The conference, called "Growing our Future: Making sense of national food strategies," will also welcome other speakers set to discuss national agri-food strategies. The new leader of the official opposition and head of the New Democratic Party, Thomas Mulcair, will address the Economic Club of Canada about the 2012 budget.
